A low premium is a great start, but look for total value.

El hecho de que un plan tenga una prima menor no significa que el plan ofrecerá más valor. Always consider the total yearly cost of each plan, which includes the:

  • Prima mensual
  • Deducible anual
  • Copay/coinsurance for all the prescription drugs you take

Importante: Even if you (or someone you care for) are currently enrolled in a plan that provides Medicare prescription drug coverage, it’s always a good idea to reevaluate annually whether that plan still offers the greatest value based on changing drug needs.

Si uno de sus padres o un ser querido se está afiliando a un plan de Medicare Part D, podemos ayudarlo a tomar una decisión informada. Use our online tools to compare plans and enroll. Or speak with one of our Express Scripts Medicare advisors who are specially trained in Medicare Part D benefits.

Es fácil comenzar. Just provide answers to these questions:

Which drugs does the person take?
Make a list including strength (for example, 10mg) and dosage (for example, twice daily). For an Express Scripts member with non-Part D coverage, provide the member ID number, and we’ll look up the drugs.

What is the person's Medicare ID number?
The person must be eligible for Medicare Part A and/or be enrolled in Part B.

Does the person qualify for Extra Help?
This could affect premium, deductible and copayment amounts.
